SKP S'TREAM

The S’tream has received category EN C from its tests in Switzerland, the characteristics of this glider has developed into two radically different concepts of wing.

The S’tream has grown and developed into two critical styles of flying", Freestyle" and "Performance". Normally a glider can be ruined when you try to create either one or the other, through modern design technology and creative thinking the new S'tream has flourished in these two areas.

The S’tream benefits from modern technologies such as integrated polyamide rods and snap rings which reinforces the small mylars at the leading edge. These replace the previous mylar design making the wing sturdier and lighter.

We made important decisions with regards to enhancing the comfort in flight, we left 4 lines of suspending lines in the centre of the wing and 3 at the end. Thus the cord is held better making it more supple.

S'tream is very balanced in flight, it passes through turbulence without losing its impressive performance. The result in turn produces pure pleasure, the canopy is located exactly where the pilot needs to be, this helps the wing thermal more naturally.

A lot of time was spent on the speed system and trying to give the best balance between glide ratio and solidity. Our last choice was that of its materials, A lot of lengthy discussions were had with Nicolas Brenneur (one of our local experts). S' tream has been made to last the rigours of time with our latest choice of materials, We decided to use Dominico Fabric for bottom panels.

Please view the data from the success of the EN C test where it can be seen that the S'tream only received a C for Big ears on bar. Thus making the S'tream a high performance wing with incredible safety characteristics.
